Current version of CCR2004-16G-2S+ router without USB port
Informations19.4.2023Unfortunately, due to the global shortage of specific components the manufacturer MikroTik had to adjust the production of the CCR2004-16G-2S+ router and the newly sold device after 3/2023 will not include a USB port. This change will be apparent at first glance from the serial number, where the string "r2" will be added - for example, a serial number of 6CBB06B723F0*r2*/630 would indicate that this is a non-USB version. MikroTik is actively addressing the situation and hopes that the port will be added again in the future. -
Wi-Fi at the Colors of Ostrava festival

End of support for older UAPs in UniFi Controller from 1.3.2021
Informations23.2.2021Unfurnatelly, we must inform you that few years "old models" of UniFi AP (see exact list below) will not be supported in UniFi Controller anymore according to official manufacturer's statement after March 1, 2021. This means that you will see these APs in the UniFi Controller released after March 1, 2021, but you will not be able to configure and upgrade them to fix critical bugs and for security. The solution to such a situation is to replace the AP with a new one or keep the older UniFi Controller (released before the end of support date), which we cannot recommend in the long term.

Attack on a RouterOS devices

Since all RouterOS devices offer free upgrades with just two clicks, we urge you to upgrade your devices with the "Check for updates" button, if you haven't done so within the last year.
