The first-ever outdoor Teltonika router

Products tip
28.2.2024

The OTD140 outdoor router is a dust and water resistant cellular router designed to withstand all weather conditions. The device is encased in a durable plastic cover with IP55 certification (PC+ASA). This 4G router is therefore ideal for deployment in outdoor installations, including CCTV cameras and sensors, lift stations, wind and solar farms and more. A big advantage is the two Ethernet ports with POE support. The first of the ports is used to power the router (POE-in), the second of the ports can be used to power the connected device (POE-out) with a consumption of up to 15 W.

LTE Cat4 provides sufficient connectivity and thanks to two SIM slots the router provides a reliable solution in case of failure, outage or network overload. VPN, QOS and VLAN support is a matter of course, as is a firewall. Among industrial protocols, Modbus, MQTT, SNMP and many other well-known protocols that you normally use are implemented.

Note that this outdoor router does not have Wi-Fi capabilities by itself. If your solution could use Wi-Fi on top of outdoor resilience, we recommend adding a Wi-Fi access point, such as TAP100 or TAP200, which are intended for internal use.

Like other Teltonika routers, this router is powered by the RutOS operating system and supports Remote Management System (RMS), which allows simple and comprehensive remote management of both your router and other connected devices. You will especially appreciate this option in remote and hard-to-reach locations.
